These Terms describe the conditions for using humebands.com and the Hume Health mobile app (jointly, the "Services"), maintained by Hume Health Corp. By ordering, registering an account, or otherwise using the Services, you're agreeing to what's outlined below.

1. Who Can Use This Website

Purchasing from humebands.com or registering a Hume Health account requires being 18 or older, or having reached the age of majority in your area. The Services aren't designed for children, and we don't knowingly gather data from anyone under 13.

2. Placing And Processing Orders

Submitting an order is your offer to buy a Hume Band, plus any extras such as the extended warranty, at the price displayed. We may decline or cancel orders under specific conditions — suspected fraud, a pricing mistake, or insufficient stock — with any collected payment refunded in full.

Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted and can change without prior notice, though such a change never retroactively affects an order you've already completed.

4. A Word On Health Claims

The Hume Band is a consumer wellness product meant to help you understand general lifestyle and health trends over time. It is not a medical device, and it's not built to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Numbers like biological age, metabolic momentum, and illness indicators come from sensor readings and proprietary algorithms — they're wellness estimates, not a replacement for a licensed healthcare provider's judgment.

Consult a doctor before acting on any medical decision, and seek urgent care for a serious concern regardless of what the app happens to display.

5. Keeping Your Account Secure

Anything that happens under your Hume Health login is your responsibility, so treat those credentials carefully. Notice something off about account access? Let us know without delay.

6. Behavior That's Not Allowed

Don't attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the Hume Band's hardware or software in ways that break applicable law, use the Services to violate anyone's rights, or try to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

7. Trademark and Content Rights

"Hume Band," "Hume Health," and related branding are owned by Hume Health Corp. The device's design, the app, and this site's content are protected under copyright and intellectual property law, meaning reproduction without our approval isn't permitted.

8. Warranty Scope and Liability

Outside the specific warranty described in our Refund & Returns policy, the Services are offered without further guarantee, as far as the law permits. Hume Health Corp isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses tied to using the product or Services, to whatever extent that limitation is legally allowed.

9. Updates To This Document

These Terms may be revised periodically. Any change is reflected in an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Services once a revision takes effect means the new version applies to you.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the consumer and commercial laws that apply wherever Hume Health Corp is based, independent of conflict-of-law rules.
